František Hroník is a psychologist who has worked for many years as a clinical psychologist in hospitals and as a contractual partner of health insurance companies. For the last 20 years he has been working exclusively in organizational practice. He founded the consulting and training company Motiv P, which operates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He has written several books on the selection, evaluation and development of employees. His main focus is on management development. He is a lecturer at the MBA programme. In his latest publication, Čtyři směry business myšlení (Four Directions of Business Thinking), he responds to the post-covid situation.
Eva Höschlová is a member of the board of the Czech Association of Work and Organizational Psychology, and in addition to international and Czech research, she is dedicated to the application of psychology in various business spheres. She is a senior consultant at QED GROUP and has been teaching at the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities for more than 10 years, including Psychodiagnostics and Psychometrics, Methods of Occupational Psychology and Economic Psychology.
Kimberley Breevaart received her master degree and PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. After serving as an assistant professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, she returned to Erasmus University where she became an associate professor of Leadership and Employee Wellbeing. She has 15 years of experience in academia, studying the interplay between leadership, employee well-being, and organizational performance, shedding light on strategies to create healthier and more productive work environments. In 2022, she published The Barriers Model of Abusive Supervision, which explains why it is so difficult to confront a destructive leader (see also http://tinyurl.com/barriersmodel). She is currently editing an academic book on destructive leadership and writing a management book on the same topic.
Konstantinos Kafetsios is an Extraordinary Professor at Palacký University in Olomouc and a faculty member at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has held academic positions in the UK and Greece, focusing on emotion in interpersonal and social interaction, hierarchical relationships at work, and social relationships across cultures. Kafetsios has published over 100 publications in international peer-refereed journals, held editorial roles for various journals, and served as an ad hoc reviewer for over 60 international peer-refereed journals. He is a full member of the International Society for Research on Emotion, the International Association for Relationships Research, and the European Association of Social Psychology.
Jana Murza studied psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague. She holds an international certificate in cognitive behavioural psychotherapy. She has worked as a psychiatrist, lecturer, project manager and director of the HR division of a retail company. She is currently working on prevention and mental health care in organizations. She is co-founder of COLLO and author of TO JE ONO! Praktická psychologie pro manažery (THIS IS IT! Practical Psychology for Managers). At the Centre for Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Medicine of the National Institute of Occupational Health, she is involved in the project “The effects of robotization on the mental health of employees”.
Conference participants have the opportunity to attend workshops held by the sister conference Bata’s Legacy to the World free of charge. This conference takes place on the same dates and at the same location as the Psychology of Work and Organization conference. It is agreed that participants of both conferences are free to attend the different parts of the programmes according to their interests. The Bata’s Legacy to the World Conference is held every five years, and in 2024, it will focus on the theme of The Power of Human Potential and Technology. The individual workshops at this conference focus on the following topics:

The permanent committee of the Conference of Work and Organisational Psychology, consisting of one representative of each workplace, has been established since the 19th year of the conference based on the agreement of the co-organisers. The post of the chairman of the permanent committee is always held by that permanent committee member, whose workplace is the main organiser for that year. At the moment, it works in the arrangement mentioned above.
